Preliminary plans for the 17-acre parcel call for seven acres to remain untouched, five acres of landscaped gardens, and five acres of development on the parcel of land formerly occupied by the Baltimore Country Club tennis courts.

Initial plans call for 225 independent living units, 58 assisted living units and 40 beds for residents in need of skilled nursing.

The property would be situated at a far lower elevation than Baltimore Country Club’s Roland Park clubhouse. No building would exceed three and a half stories.

The proposed CCRC would feature architectural design and external building materials (e.g. stucco, brick, porches and dormers) consistent with the Roland Park community. Click here to see renderings.

A main, gated entrance to the facility would be located off Falls Road.

All resident and employee parking would be located underground.

Keswick’s proposed CCRC would provide life care to its residents, allowing them to age in place and maintain their connection to the community even if their needs change.

The proposed CCRC would create many diverse employment opportunities, both during the construction phase and after the project is complete.
